CLEARLINK Recognized for Innovation in Worksite Wellness
In addition to earning the platinum level award CLEARLINK was also the winner of this year’s Wellness Innovation Award. The Wellness Innovation Award is given to an organization that is leading the development and implementation of innovative and effective programs that promote employee health.
With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, CLEARLINK was forced to reevaluate their existing program from top to bottom. They worked closely with their new broker to design a strategy that allowed the company to continue to pay 100% of the insurance premium for employees who met the wellness program qualifications while controlling costs. CLEARLINK introduced participation in the “360 degree Fit” program from the first day employees are eligible to join the health plan. They changed carriers, offer three different health plans, and partnered with Gold’s Gym to launch a new Fitness Tracker. CLEARLINK implemented two different programs dependent on time on the wellness plan, with year one being a participatory program and year two moving towards an outcome based program. This has encouraged employees to be more accountable for their personal health and wellness.
“The health and overall wellness of our employees is incredibly important to us,” said Cammie Cable, Vice President of Human Resources at CLEARLINK. “We want to ensure employees are happy and healthy, both in and out of the workplace. Our 360° Fit program was designed to provide resources to help CLEARLINKers make healthy improvements in every aspect of their lives, and we align company goals and success metrics with the health of our employees, creating a win-win.”
